Great place to be... By car: 25 min from San Gimoniano, 25 min from Sienne; 2 min from center of Colle Val D'Elsa. Excellent hosting, great people. Excellent restaurant also and very good wine. - »

We found this hotel on Expedia and what a find! We were truly enchanted with our stay. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and thankfully decent English...a blessing! The town (Colle di Val d\'Elsa) where this hotel (former 11th century Abbey) is located turned out to be our favourite, after driving around the surrounding countryside, over 3 days, and visiting Chianti wineries, Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni & Siena. We would definitely come right back to this hotel on our next trip. - »

The suite was perfect for our family. The breakfeast room (and food) were unforgetable. Quiet, comfortable and roomy (for an old town) I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a good night sleep. PS You can walk to the tower! - »

We just stayed 1 night at the property in Pisa-Relais di Fiori and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was very comfortable and the decor was lovely. Especially nice reception-very helpful, recommended a fantastic place for dinner. The breakfast that is provided is delicious and makes for a nice start for your day. I would recommend this property to friends travelling to this area. - »

L'hôtel est propre et la chambre plutot jolie mais pour un 4 étoiles et pour les commentaires de certains guides, c'est un peu juste. La chambre étant "extérieure" au batiment principale, pas de vue de l'intérieur dudit magnifique batiment, pas de vue sur la campagne, une chambre meublée non pas avec des meubles anciens mais des meubles neufs dignes d'un Novotel, un peu de bruit de la route et de la boîte de nuit situées juste en face... idem pour les abords de la piscine, bref, pas vraiment profité de ce cadre. - »

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Relais Della Rovere. The staff was so incredibly friendly, it was one of the highlights of our trip! The rooms are very large and comfortable and the restaurant was some of the best food we had during our stay in Italy. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon. - »

What a fabulous hotel! I can't stress enough how the staff makes your hotel great. They were all so helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated Barbara's help and patience locating our missing bag. In the most constructive way, the air conditioning was not sufficent for the room. I understand Italy is not always as hot as it was for the week we were there and that Italians are used to the lack of ac, but for a 4 star hotel catering to Northern Euros and Americans, something should be done. At least have a fan available to guests. As opening the windows was not an option with the barking dogs, the heat was uncomfortable after walking around Tuscany all day. Also, and I'm sorry this is picky, because I loved our stay and would come back, but the sheets were horrible. They felt like they were starched or dry cleaned. So, despite those things, Rovere really was beautiful and a wonderful base of traveling around Tuscany. The staff is incredible and we wish them all the best. We will recommend Rovere and her sisters in the future. - »
